Here’s what you need to make a Craft Stick Baby Yoda

.

Here’s how to create a Grogu from Craft Sticks

STEP ONE

To begin the Popsicle Stick Baby Yoda Craft, gather all supplies. To create the body, line up four jumbo craft sticks on your work surface. Using scissors, trim two additional jumbo craft sticks to the width of Baby Yoda and attach them with a glue gun and glue sticks. You can use liquid craft glue for this project, but you will have to wait for it to dry.

STEP TWO

Paint the top two inches with Sour Apple acrylic craft paint. Paint the bottom four inches with Mississippi Mud acrylic craft paint. Set aside to dry and apply a second coat, if necessary. I love Americana Acrylics from DecoArt because they have one-coat coverage on most surfaces.

STEP THREE

Download, print, and cut out the CRAFT STICK BABY YODA PATTERNS from the bottom of this post. Using the MONO Twin Marker, trace the collar pattern onto Cashmere Tan Kunin Classic Felt. Trace the large ear patterns onto Neon Green Kunin Classic Felt and trace the small ear patterns onto Baby Pink Kunin Classic Felt. Cut out all shapes with scissors and cut inside the traced lines for a clean, finished project.

STEP FOUR

Flip over Baby Yoda’s paper face pattern and scribble all over the back with a pencil. Flip the pattern back over and position it in the center of Baby Yoda’s head. Trace around the pattern with a pencil, transferring the facial features onto the craft sticks. Then ink in the features with the MONO Twin Marker. Using the end of the paintbrush handle, make a large and small dot in each eye with Titanium White acrylic craft paint. I love drawing and tracing with the MONO Twin Permanent Marker from Tombow because it has a large bullet tip and a small extra fine tip.

STEP FIVE

Glue the tan felt collar to Baby Yoda at the neck. Draw the folds onto the collar with the MONO Twin Permanent Marker. Attach the pink ears to the bright green ears with a glue gun and glue sticks. Flip Baby Yoda over and glue the ears to the top right and left sides. You can use liquid craft glue for this project, but you will have to wait for it to dry.
