Kids can use a classic art technique called scratch art to make these SCRATCH ART CHRISTMAS CARDS to give to their parents at Christmas time. Your kids could use this process to make homemade gift tags too.
We’ve been making homemade Christmas cards here in my daycare, and decided to use one of our favourite art process to make some cards to give to friends and family this Christmas.
Recently we made scratch art family portraits and the kids just loved the process. It’s quite fascinating and more than a little addictive.
Pop over to CBC Parents to see how we made our cards! I’ll bet it will bring back grade school memories for you!
And I’ll bet your kids will love the process as much as you did when you were a kid!
