  • White paper gift bags
  • Blue paint
  • Foam paint brush
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Black marker
  • Googly eyes

How to make your frog craft:

STEP 1: Gather your supplies

Before you get started with your frog craft, make sure to gather up all your supplies! It makes it so much easier when you aren’t chasing down all your supplies.

Be sure to print off your frog craft template. You can find it by scrolling down below.

STEP 2: Prepare your frog craft template and body parts

Cut out the frog template and trace it onto your colored cardstock.

Trace the body of the frog onto light green cardstock and cut it out. Then trace the head and legs onto dark green cardstock and cut those out. Lastly, cut a small strip of light green cardstock.

STEP 3: Glue the legs onto the frog

First things first – we need to glue on the legs! Glue the front legs onto the frog’s body and then the back legs. To create a 3D appearance, only glue at the edge of the back legs and flap up the rest as shown below.

STEP 4: Assemble the frog’s face

Next, we’re going to put together the frog’s face. Start by gluing on the googly eyes and then draw on a mouth and nostril holes with a black marker. Finally, cut small pink circles and glue them onto the frog’s cheeks.

STEP 5: Attach the frog’s head to the body

Now, you’re going to attach the frog’s head to the body. Take the light green strip of cardstock and fold it into the shape of an M as shown below.

Then, glue one end of the strip onto the frog’s body and the other end onto the head.

STEP 6: Assemble the puddle

Now it is time to add a puddle for your frog to sit on.  Trace the puddle template onto blue cardstock and cut it out. Then, cut out small strips of light blue cardstock as shown below.

STEP 6: Assemble gift bags
