This DIY Pressed Flower Pumpkin is an easy way to decorate real or faux pumpkins with your favorite fall flowers and leaves.

Although we are still waiting for fall colors to arrive (where we live down south peak season is sometime between mid-October to the first couple weeks of November), I still have lots of beautiful fall leaves and fall fall flowers leftover after making the DIY Pressed Leaves and Flower Fall Candles.

I found so many gorgeous options online that were already pressed and ready for crafting and I have been having so much fun making fall decor with them!

This is such a simple fall tutorial you could even do it with your kids!

And hopefully, once we begin getting fall foliage little Roger Dale and I can start pressing our own leaves for future DIYs.

Do you like to press fall foliage to use for crafts, journaling, or decor?

Materials (click to shop):

Pumpkin, faux or real

Pressed Flowers (I used a mixture of these: Pressed Leaves/Flowers 1 || Pressed Leaves/Flowers 2 || Pressed Leaves/Flowers 3)

Mod Podge

Paint Brush

Instructions:

1. Place the pumpkin on its side and apply a layer of Mod Podge on the side of the pumpkin that’s facing up using a paintbrush.

2. Arrange your pressed fall flowers and leaves on top of the Mod Podge and then add a layer of Mod Podge on top of the flowers and leaves.

3. Repeat this process around the whole pumpkin.

You may need to hold the pumpkin up off the table so that the glue doesn’t stick to your table. (Note: you will want to clean your brush immediately after finishing so that the bristles do not dry glued together.)

4. Let dry and have fun decorating for fall!
